Golden Eye, Boykin Spaniel, 20x20"

Andrew G. Lee (b.1982)

Golden Eye, 2019

Original, Acrylic painting on canvas

20x20" artwork, framed

Signed: Andrew Lee, lower right

This original painting is done by Andrew Lee, and the subject for this particular official state dog of South Carolina was provided to the artist 'on the fly' while working in-person with Gray's Sporting Journal, during Andrew's time spent painting as their featured artist in their respective booth at the 2019 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition held annually in Charleston, SC.

This painting was the second hunting dog that Andrew painted as he and his family joined Mike Floyd of Gray's Sporting Journal during the event at Brittlebank Park, and it was later refined and finalized in the artist's studio in Auburn, Alabama.

Framed beautifully in a traditional, classic dark brown frame with a gold inset accent to compliment the curly coat and golden eyes of this Boykin spaniel.
